Dear parents,
The first full week went by very quickly and we have completed several tests. I am excited to be working with your students this year and I see the great potential for learning in each of them. It's going to be an exciting year of learning! We have seven subjects we are studying and they will learn a lot of new and exciting things. Please check their bags daily for homework or important information. Each day, at the end of the day, the students are sent by tables to collect from their mailbox. There is no reason why they should miss out on any information. Fridays you should always have spelling words, with phonograms on the back, in their folders. Following is a list of their spelling words and phonograms for this coming week. The pretest is on every Thursday and the final test is on Friday. Have them write each word daily and spell them to you daily. This prepares them for the tests. Thank you in advance for supporting your child in his/her learning experience.

A New Year
Dear parents and students,
Welcome to my class! Another summer has come and gone and we are refreshed and ready to learn and grow once again. I want to take a moment to invite you to the Meet the Teacher night on this coming Tuesday at 6 p.m. At that time I will have a packet for you. Below is a supply list for both my classroom and art. Please do not purchase White Board (dry erase) markers from the general list the school gave out. I have a surplus! :)
#2 pencils= 2 packages of 24 pencils each
1 pack of 8 basic crayons
2 reams of wide-ruled paper
1 folder for homework
2 large pink erasers ( not the pencil topper style)
1 pencil holder ( box or bag)
Mandatory water bottles
This is my list, we do not need glue sticks, rulers, or dry erase markers. If it is on the school list, please disregard their request for these items. Also, do not purchase duplicates if we have the same items listed on both lists. I am looking forward to meeting you and your child on Tuesday! See you then!
